Ralph Lauren joins this bandwagon with a collection of fragrance for men named “The Big Pony Collection“. Ralph Lauren Big Pony Men’s Fragrance Collection takes inspiration from designer’s Big Pony shirts embroidered with an oversize version of Ralph Lauren’s signature polo-player logo. These new men fragrances are designed mainly to target young men between 18-30 age group and of course Polo lovers. Collection features four fragrances representing four key passions- Sport, Seduction, Adventure and Style. A little splash lets you capture the spirit of the spa, even when you don’t have time to visit one.“
Iris fragrance will be presented in a luxurious glass bottle, adorned with painted flower, symbolizing the key ingredient. This floral design was created by Bella Towse, a young graduate at the University of Art and Design in London, who took inspiration in the flower garden of her parents’ house in Sussex. Crabtree & Evelyn Iris is available as 50 ml EDP and 100 ml EDT, along with the collection of luxury products for body and home, such as bath and shower gel, body lotion, soap, candles, room sprays, etc. Iris bath and shower gel, in addition to the iris flower, also contains the notes of peony, white magnolia and elder.

A Fragrance Division of Fortune Hills International, Inc. from Diamond Bar (LA, California) has launched two fragrances this year (2010), – Midnight Wishes and Beautiful U, – aimed for younger audience.

Midnight Wishes is dark fruity floral fragrance which starts with mouthwatering notes of Passion fruit & Mandarin orange, the heart is composed of Black Violet, Rose Hip, Gardenia, and Jasmine, at the base lay notes of Sandalwood, Amber and Vanilla.
Beautiful U is a gourmand intense fruity floral fragrance. The fragrance features top notes of green leaves, freesia and plumberries. The heart blooms with lily-of-the-valley, almond blossom, immortelle, jasmine, rose with a hint of blond woods. The base features amber, patchouli and vanilla.

Tommy Hilfiger is launching a fragrant duo named Loud for young women and men. Both perfumes of the duo are supposed to be real rock ’n’ roll fragrances inspired by music for the same public that buys Hilfiger denim. Perfumers of the house of Givaudan, Aurelien Guichard and Yann Vasnier created both new editions of central notes of rose and patchouli. Loud for Her incorporates litchi and rose in a top and patchouli in a base. Loud for Him is based mostly on patchouli accords and adds a bit of rose scent. Since the main theme is music, Chad Lavigne designed two flacons in shape of music records. Edition for women is coloured in pink, while men’s version is transparent black, with silver stoppers resembling stereo knobs.
Building on the theme, advertising campaign developed. British rock duo The Ting Tings wrote a song especially for Hilfiger’s campaign. It is called “We’re Not the Same,” and will be a part of the group’s new album, which is a unique thing in the world of fragrances. Another novelty in this campaign is “club package” which features hand stamps with Loud-scented ink, concert ticket blotters and scented wristbands. Characteristic of this campaign is a strip of duct tape with the word “Loud” which you will be seeing in advertisement across Europe and probably in US afterwards.

Playboy launches its first women’s fragrance collection, which consists of three scents: Play It Lovely, Play It Sexy and Play It Spicy. The collection is expected in September 2010 on the European market and in January 2011 in the United States. Playboy gives a woman the confidence to take action; to decide whether to flirt with a man, to seduce him or capture him completely – it is her game. Each of these three fragrances represents a step in the women’s game of seduction. Play It Lovely entices him; Play It Sexy ensnares him, and Play It Spicy bounds him. Jürgen Scharfenstein, the senior vice president of marketing for Coty Beauty, the company behind this collection, claims:
“While associating women’s scents with a sexed-up men’s lifestyle brand may seem like a paradox, I don’t think it’s so much related to Hugh Hefner. It’s about the brand in itself, its playfulness.”
All three fragrances are available as 30 and 50 ml EDP and 150 ml body spray.
Christina Aguilera’s new perfume, Royal Desire, which is expected for release in the fall of 2010. The name of her fifth perfume is dedicated to women who feel like queens. According to the press release, “If you enjoy luxurious things, seduction and finding yourself in the center of attention, this fragrance was created just for you.”
The olfactory composition features lily flower, which represents a royal symbol. It is complemented by herbal notes, rose and honeysuckle at the heart. The opening is lively, fresh and sweet, while the base is musky and woody.

David & Victoria Beckham introduce the new scented duo Intimately Yours, expected on the market from September 2010. The fragrances are available in distinctive golden and silver glass bottles.
Intimately Yours Men is a sensual fragrance of oriental composition accompanied by citrus freshness and inspired by masculine strength and natural elegance of David Beckham. The top notes include red orange, iced lemon and green leaves. The heart contains sage, lavender and frozen basil, while the base notes include tonka, sandalwood and vetiver. The scent is available in amount of 30 and 50ml EDT, 50ml after shave lotion, 150ml hair & body bath and 150ml deo body spray.
Intimately Yours Women is composed of sensual floral-oriental notes. The top notes are freesia, pear leaf and bergamot, followed by the heart notes – orange blossom, white Casablanca lilies and frangipani, while the base notes include sandalwood, iris and vetiver. The assortment includes toilet water in amount of 15, 30 and 50ml EDT, 150ml shower cream and 150ml body spray.

Ermenegildo Zegna introduces the new men’s fragrance Zegna Forte in a dark glass bottle that preserves the sparkling composition of the seductive aroma. Zegna Forte is also a celebration edition which celebrates 100 years of brand creativity, work and creation.
Intense masculine notes with seductive and bewitched character combine freshness and depth in a unique way. Ginger and pink pepper are credited for the sparkling opening of the composition, combined with the typical lemon and grapefruit eau de cologne. The heart of the composition includes an aromatic transition to the intoxicating, smokey and seductive notes, combined from lavender honey and white tobacco.
